Last January, we had the pleasant visit of personnel from the German company HKM(www.hkm.de), Werner Blomenkamp - Technical Logistics Hot Metal Department and Felix Haberl - Process Development Manager Process Technology, to be more precise. The purpose of their visit was to be trained on the correct use of Trefimet thermal lances and to identify the best thermal lance for their process. In addition to training, measuring the consumption of the thermal lances, their efficiency and consumption times, we were able to obtain information and feedback with the experience of these people from HKM, so that we could also instruct ourselves and increase our level of knowledge about steel foundries.
It is also important to note that the most suitable thermal lance that we found together for the need that HKM had, was the TR-75, a thermal lance that fulfilled an excellent performance based on what they were looking for. Werner and Felix were amazed with the most powerful thermal lance of the TR line, so we asked them if they could leave a testimony about what they thought about Trefimet as a company and what they thought about the most powerful thermal lance of the TR line
The visit lasted a week, in which we could make the most of the visit of the HKIM people, we did tests, training, measurements and we could also enjoy together the beautiful landscapes of our country, the good food and pleasant conversations.
